Papa Tom's Buckaroo Ranch
Here are a few pictures of the boys riding Stormy at Papa Tom's buckaroo ranch. This was Tanner's first time on a horse. He did suprisingly well. McKay also loves the tractor and uses any excuse to get out back to ride it.
Those who either don't have or ignore the recorded word of God eventually cease to believe in Him and forget the purpose of their existence.
-Elder D. Todd Christofferson
A God of love does not leave us to learn by sad experience that "wickedness never was happiness." His commandments are the voice of reality and our protection against self-inflicted pain.
-Elder D. Todd Christofferson
Be Consistent
Each family prayer, each episode of family scripture study, and each family home evening is a brushstroke on the canvas of our souls. No one event may appear to be very impressive or memorable.....our consistency in doing seemingly small things can lead to significant spiritual results. "Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great" (D&C 64:33) Consistency is a key principle as we lay the foundation of a great work in our individual lives and as we become more diligent and concerned in our own homes.
-Elder David. A. Bednar
Words to live by:
A person's true character is revealed by what he does when no one is watching.
Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.
Happy people don't necessarily have everything, they just make the most of everything they have.
Make the most out of the best and the least out of the worst.
To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world.
The only time we fail in our home is when we give up on each other.
How our story begins....
Chad and I met the day after Thanksgiving in 2002, were engaged 2 weeks later and happily married 4 months after that. We have 3 fabulous boys, McKay arrived in January of 2006, Tanner in November of 2007 and Grant in February of 2009. Every day is an adventure with our sweet, energetic, adventurous boys. We are so incredibly blessed to have such amazing children.
