Great Aunt Ida

My dad's Aunt,  my Great Aunt Ida passed away this past week.  She was an amazing woman.  She was one of the kindest, most loving, welcoming women I have ever met.  She never had a negative word for anyone and is a great example to me of enduring to the end.  Her sweet husband Ralph died 23 years ago...I can't imagine being without Chad for 23 years, what a hard trial that would be.  She was always smiling and she's had a wonderful full life.   I attended her funeral today.  What a fantastic woman she was.  Her testimony of the gospel was unwavering despite all of her challenges and she knew she would be reunited with her sweet husband.  I can't imagine what a fantastic reunion they are having.  I'm so incredibly grateful for the sure knowledge that families can be together forever and that death is not a forever goodbye, just a temporary separation.  I'm grateful for the comfort the atonement brings to my life and to the lives of my family members.   She was certainly an Elect Lady and will be greatly missed.  Below is a copy of her obituary.  God be with you til we meet again my sweet Aunt Ida, I love you!!

I'll have to ask my Mom if she knew her, since my Mom grew up in Malad. Sorry to hear about the loss.
